George is a member of the County Auditors’ Association of Ohio, the Governmental Finance Officers’ Association, the International Association of Assessing Officers, the Springfield-Clark County Chamber of Commerce, the Community Leadership Association, and the Wright State University Alumni Association.

George has been recognized as a Distinguished County Auditor by the County Auditors’ Association of Ohio and has received the association’s Outstanding County Auditor award. He has received numerous community service awards.

George enjoys working with students and teaches Economics at Wright State University, in his spare time.

The father of five children, George and his wife Christa live in Springfield Township and are members of First Lutheran Church.
