The 2019 tax year Homestead Exemption enrollment period for Real Property ends Tuesday, December 31, 2019. Applications must be filed in the Auditor’s Office on or before the deadline. Applicants must be 65 years of age or older OR be permanently and totally disabled. The total Ohio Adjusted Gross Income of the owner and the spouse must be $32,800 or less for the preceding tax year. Applicants must own their home on or before January 1, 2019 in order to qualify for 2019. If you are a disabled veteran and meet certain criteria you may be entitled to a Homestead reduction, and may contact our office for more information. Homeowners who wish to submit an application for the 2019 tax year Owner-Occupancy 2.5% tax credit must also file with the Auditor’s Office on or before December 31, 2019. Applications for Owner Occupancy Credit are also available in the Clark County Auditor’s Office temporary location at 14 E. Main Street, 3rd Floor, Springfield OH, by calling 937-521-1862 or online at www.clarkcountyauditor.org.
